These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Udhar Book mobile application (“App”, “Service”) provided by us. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Udhar Book helps you record and manage business credit (udhaar), customers, suppliers, transactions, cash book entries, payment accounts, and related reports. The App is a record-keeping tool only.
You are solely responsible for verifying all amounts, balances, tax obligations, and business decisions based on data entered in the App. We do not provide accounting, legal, or financial advice.
You retain ownership of the business data you enter (customers, suppliers, transactions, etc.). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that data solely to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You must not enter unlawful, defamatory, or third-party data without proper rights or consent (e.g. others’ personal data without permission).

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
The App may work offline and store data locally on your device. When you reconnect, pending changes may sync to our servers. You are responsible for backing up important records and resolving conflicts if the same account is used on multiple devices.
We are not liable for data loss due to device failure, uninstalling the App, or sync errors; you should verify critical balances independently.
The App may display third-party advertisements (e.g. via Google AdMob). Ads are provided “as is” by third parties. We do not endorse advertised products or services. Your interaction with ads is subject to the advertiser’s terms and policies.
We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or the entire Service at any time, with or without notice.
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes may also be communicated in the App where practicable.
The App, its design, branding, and software (excluding your data) are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the App without our written permission.
THE APP AND SERVICE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that calculations, reports, PDF exports, or synced data are accurate, complete, or suitable for your business or tax needs.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR INR 1,000 IF YOU USE A FREE VERSION), WHICHEVER IS GREATER AS ALLOWED BY LAW.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your data, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
You may stop using the App at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access if you breach these Terms or for operational or legal reasons.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ends. Provisions that by nature should survive (e.g. disclaimers, limitation of liability) will remain in effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence that cannot be waived.

डेटा आपके डिवाइस पर स्थानीय सहेजा जा सकता है और ऑनलाइन होने पर सिंक हो सकता है। डिवाइस खराबी, अनइंस्टॉल या सिंक त्रुटि से हानि की जिम्मेदारी आपकी है; महत्वपूर्ण बैलेंस स्वयं जाँचें।
ऐप में तृतीय-पक्ष विज्ञापन (जैसे Google AdMob) दिख सकते हैं। विज्ञापनदाता की अपनी शर्तें लागू होती हैं।
हम बिना सूचना के सुविधाएँ बदल या बंद कर सकते हैं। नई शर्तें इस पृष्ठ पर पोस्ट होने के बाद निरंतर उपयोग से सहमति मानी जाएगी।
ऐप “जैसा है” आधार पर दिया जाता है। गणना, रिपोर्ट या PDF की सटीकता की गारंटी नहीं। व्यावसायिक नुकसान, लाभ की हानि या डेटा हानि के लिए कानून द्वारा अनुमत सीमा तक हम उत्तरदायी नहीं।
आप कभी भी उपयोग बंद कर सकते हैं; उल्लंघन पर हम पहुँच समाप्त कर सकते हैं। ये नियम भारत के कानूनों के अधीन हैं।
